	Hi! I am Mrs. Gordon, and I am the Library Media Specialist at College Park Elementary. I have a B.A. in History and a Master’s Degree in Education. I received my National Board Certification in 2002. I have been at College Park Elementary for 11 years. Mrs. Olds is the Library Media Assistant at College Park. She has also been at College Park for 11 years.

Important September/October Events:	Accelerated Reader
Orientation- All Grades Accelerated Reader Training - Grades 2nd through 5th Mali Empire Lessons - 3rd Grade	The AR Goal for College Park this year is 10,000 points. Students will receive prizes for reaching their individual goals this year. Goals for this year are: 1^st Grade = 5 points 2^nd Grade = 10 points 3^rd Grade = 15 points 4^th Grade = 20 points 5^th Grade = 20 points

General Information:

Students at College Park visit the Library Media Center for class research projects, lessons, individual research and book/magazine check out.

Kindergarten and first grade students are allowed to check out one book at a time. Second through fifth grade students may check out two books at a time. Third through fifth grade students also have the privilege of checking out magazines.
